For over a decade, Ontario families, schools and communities have faced policies that have strained public services, household finances and community infrastructure. I believe the government can and should do better.

Drawing on my degree in philosophy and English writing from Redeemer University, a diploma in legal administration from Centennial College, and my multidisciplinary experience as a writer, researcher, life coach and law clerk, I will work across public institutions, community organizations and private enterprise to strengthen services, pursue available resources and deliver meaningful results.

Philosophy taught me to question assumptions and examine how we arrive at conclusions. Writing taught how to communicate my ideas clearly. Legal administration taught me to pay attention to details, processes, documentation and accountability. Life coaching taught you to listen, empathize and hold space for people beneath presenting problems.

Additionally, I most recently attended the Fraser Institute’s Economics for Journalists conference, which has further equipped me with a deeper understanding of the economic and policy issues surrounding education for the role as a trustee. I bring those skills, knowledge and experiences with me to the table, together with my willingness to listen, learn and ask tough questions to bring about fair and equitable solutions.

I will advocate for parents and students, champion transparent decision-making, responsible resource management and clear reporting. Every initiative will centre on raising the standard of EQAO: education, quality of care, accountability and opportunities for all.

As someone who is not a career politician, I bring an independent perspective and a commitment to practical, empirical-based governance.

My goal is simple: educational enrichment, stronger communities, more accountability and greater outcomes for students.
